Thanks, Wisdom, for your kind suggestions re dig cameras. Very helpful in terms of comparing models.
BTW, a great piece in this weekend's FT by colmnist Mike Steinberger [he interviews Bob Kagan] that I'm writing about next on my blog -- http://luzsa.blogspot.com/ . Unfortunately, FT stuff is hidden behind a subscriber-only firewall, but I'll do my best to pull the good stuff.
